The Ms. Wheelchair Utah board members volunteer their time, talents, and energy all year long. They work hard, combining the efforts of generous Utah businesses, to create a fantastic pageant for Utah women in wheelchairs.
They coordinate fundraising efforts to put on the annual pageant as well as fund the titleholder's trip to the national Ms. Wheelchair America pageant.
The national pageant has a $1500 application fee and Utah is one of just a few states that raises the money to send a representative. The board also raises the money to purchase airfare for the titleholder and their companion.
Fundraisers include selling MWU calendars. The calendars are hand drawn by Meg Johnson, a complete quadriplegic. If you would like to help us help others and your school or work might be interested in having calendars available for purchase, please contact us!
